You can take the girl outta the bush - but you can't take the bush outta the girl!
Jess was certain she was a mermaid and jumped into the ocean FULLY CLOTHED!!
it was windy and a little bit cold on the beach - so I can only imagine how cold Jess was!!
After all that swimming in her clothes she looked like a drowned rat - so I called her the "rat princess".
In the park around the beach were some really awesome sculptures of seagulls and toys.
We also found a great spot under the jetty to take some great photos as well as along the side.
So after a few hours looking at sand sculptures and playing on the beach me and the Rat Princess went to the shopping centre to buy her some clothes because hers were all wet!!
I found a very funny sign on a shop - I think daddy will find it funny too!!
Finally it was time to come back to the apartment! I was really looking forward to it - however, there had been a bad accident on the train line and we ad a short train trip then a short bus trip then another train trip - it took us 2 hours to get back to Flinders St Station!!
Tomorrow (Saturday) we are going to the Grand Prix - I hope to get lots of photos for you guys!
