Another Garden Project

This time it's lattice for the jasmine that we have been growing in the garden that we view from our bedroom window.  Our window has a direct view to the next door neighbours driveway and we have no privacy - so - we invested in some large poles and some lattice and voila!!

We also built "Chickentraz"!  

Since getting the chickens and allowing them to roam free - they have chosen my 'palm garden' as their personal Sizzler Smorgesboard!!

Well - as from now - that all comes to an end!!

Here is my poor garden after they have had a few delicious days of scratching!

Fried Fritz

Not quite how grandma used to make it - but still yummy!

Take some really yummy thick slices of  "fritz" - some of you may know it as Berliner - coat in seasoned flour, dip in egg, cover in breadcrumbs,  dip in egg AGAIN and cover generously in breadcrumbs AGAIN!!

Fry up in hot oil and wait for them to puff up.

Then.................................................

Eat it!!!

I wish I had some of Grandma's home made tomato sauce to go with it!!

The inaugural Mount Isa show is on AGAIN!!

This year aside from photos, I am considering entering my mango chutney - made with home grown mangoes.  A quilt that I have been making for the youngest for three years and maybe a bunch of mint!! Hey - don't laugh - I could win a prize to the value of $10 if I have the best mint!!!
